From a9544af09983a911d0b3b1bf895b4d27dc9f750d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Stephen Waits Date: Mon, 13 Apr 2026 20:07:06 -0600 Subject: [PATCH] tune: reorder default labels by QWERTY finger ergonomics Replace the physical-position label order with a finger-strength-based order that alternates hands where possible: index > middle > ring > pinky, home row > top row > bottom row. Home row pairs come first (fjdksl), then home stretches, then top row index/middle pairs, and so on, with the weakest pinky/bottom-row-stretch keys trailing. Marginal but measurable ergonomic win for touch typists; conflict avoidance logic unchanged. --- lua/tiny-jump/init.lua | 6 ++++-- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/lua/tiny-jump/init.lua b/lua/tiny-jump/init.lua index 5fe071b..1df887e 100644 --- a/lua/tiny-jump/init.lua +++ b/lua/tiny-jump/init.lua @@ -11,8 +11,10 @@ local fn = vim.fn local M = {} M.config = { - -- The labels that may be used, in order of their preference. - labels = 'fdsaghjklrewqtyuiopvcxzbnm', + -- The labels that may be used, in order of their preference.
